LICENSING

Pattern Licensing is a process by which we grant an individual or a company the right to use our artwork for a limited amount of time. We maintain the copyright to our artwork and are paid either a flat fee or through royalties.

Avika Designs creates original royalty-free patterns and exclusively licensed textile design patterns. You can buy patterns and designs from us for use in your personal or commercial projects.

Visualised and hand drawn from scratch, our patterns are coloured in or painted with watercolours and gouache media. These are then scanned in high resolution and digitised. Once touched up flawlessly, and colour corrected to match our original artwork, the design is ready for digital manipulation to create seamless patterns. We ensure clean edges, randomised repeats, and good design practices for an aesthetic result of a very high standard.

Our patterns are shown in one or more colourways, and if you don’t see a colour that you like, we can customise any design to a colour that meets your needs. We love working with you, and can help you bring out your creative vision for a pattern or design into reality.
